As we enter this holiday season there is much pain and anguish in our world. Not only in our world abroad from our borders BUT here in the United States. There is pain and there is hurt in our small towns, in our big cities, and in our very beautiful countryside around the United States of America. Today we have men and women deployed across the world to protect and defend the freedoms of all people. Their families are hurting because theyre not home for the holidays. We have families who have lost loved ones today, yesterday, and will soon say their final goodbyes as they lay their bodies to rest. We have riots and looting around the country by people who dont see eye to eye. We have hunger and homelessness right outside our very front door. I challenge each of my friends to take a moment and watch this video. Its message is very simple. Instead of jumping in conversations that create further violence, aggravation, and continues to lead to unrest around our communities, I challenge you to pray for peace. Its simple. We just need to pray for peace! Stop right where you are. Watch this video and say a little prayer that peace will come to all people. Then, put feet on that prayer and do something peaceful today.
