As we fast approach the start of Term 1 for all schools in Perth - TopicsExpress

As we fast approach the start of Term 1 for all schools in Perth next week, this is a good time for me to reflect on the journey so far. We started only 6 months ago with a small program for the Term 3 school holidays. Numbers were very small however we still provided a great program. One thing I certainly know is that hard work always comes before success; even in the dictionary. I have to thank a lot of people for the success of Nspire Kids in its short time. 1. My School For many of you who know me you will know that i have dedicated myself to bringing out the best in my new school. I have worked in many organisations and schools and i have to say YBPS rates extremely high. I feel supported to strive for excellence not only for self but more importantly the children in my care. I have some big plans for the school in 2015 2. My community This extends from Two Rocks to Butler and everywhere in between. If you asked me where i would be 1 year ago i wouldnt have said living and working in one of the fastest growing communities in Perth. I had the privilege of implementing many firsts in my home town of Geraldton and now I have an opportunity to build on this. Nspire Kids started 1 year ago with an Amazing race and Survivor Treasure Hunt and now we are expanding our services. Im extremely grateful that the community in Perth have given me an opportunity to impart my knowledge and programs. Trust is the key in maintaining respect. 3. My supporters This extends to the valuable support from local fitness and wellness providers. Whether it be Mel Atarau from Rawenergy proving support through our wellness workshops, Rachel Byrom from BodyinDesign or the many parents who have liked and shared my page. You have all been such a fantastic help in the organic growth of my vision. 4. The Team There is no I in team and this is certainly the case with the Nspire team. I thought i was spilt for choice when working with fantastic and dedicated Educators through my primary school position- I was simply blown away by the enthusiasm and dedication by the Nspire coaches. I wouldnt want anyone to travel 1 hour a week to work, 1 hour of work and then travel home for an hour- however this is exactly what the team do. They are an extension of who i am. 5. Programs 2015 I believe consistency is the key in delivering high quality and innovative programs. A wise lady once asked me What is Nspire Kids? I answered it is whatever you want it to be. Our programs for 2015 include -wellness workshops - School holiday programs ( Butler/Geraldton) -Superhero SuperFoods- Yanchep/Alkimos/Butler -Super Sport camp- Butler/Geraldton/Alkimos -TeenFit- Yanchep -Tryathlon Training -Amazing race for Kids- New and exciting holiday program ( Butler) -BeachFIt -Shooting Stars -After school sport -Weekend Sport clinics ( basketball, tennis, cricket, soccer, AFl) + more If you havent heard about Nspire Kids yet i certainly hope you do after this.
