As we have previously addressed, GA has a bizarre parking lot rule. The law appears to allow an employee to carry a weapon in their car in their workplace parking lot unless it is a secured parking lot, in which case they cant. But then the law, in the closing paragraph (k), appears to gut the law. It is unclear how the courts would rule on this statute. In the meantime, we probably fall into the 22 states of this article, although I submit it isnt clear what GAs law is. For more, read O.C.G.A. Sec. 16-11-135.
