As we head into September, National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, take some time to review this excellent summary of the challenges the childhood cancer faces. Written in 2006, ped-onc doc and author Jessica Boklan concludes - "No longer able to wait patiently, our little patients require the ingenuity, creativity, cooperation, and perseverance of individuals and organizations dedicated to putting themselves out of business."
