As we head to the end of 2014 we have reflected on how some people wished a better 2015. 2014 was a good year for us just not the way other people would see it. I finally had a doctor take me seriously about my knee pain in February and it took two surgeries but I am in less pain than I have been in for over 30 years. We took more time off for health concerns than vacations but our customers stayed with us. Bill & I both learned we are capable of more then we thought we were. We changed our distributor and in doing so kept out quality but didnt have to raise the prices for 2015. The business had a good year. Our troubles ended with the young boys in town once Bill was in charge of the shop for the weeks I was recovering. He put his put down, just pointed to the door, and problem solved. Now we are working on screaming little girls, who dont understand grown ups dining in dont want to hear it. We had more people come to our aid without asking and did it out of friendship not money. That is priceless to every small business! The menacing call on July 1st brought forth so many issues of my past that wasnt resolved and was diagnose as P.T.S.D. and sent me to weekly therapy changed our life for the better. I am the same in my care but I am different in feelings. We were given the recipe for Christmas Crack and made close to forty pounds to give away. We kept business growing as others failed. We hit the 11th Anniversary of buying the property and some people are just finding us. We gained 258 Fans in a year. We shared so many friendship. We were there to comfort friends, customers, & Fans when they suffered a loss this year. We shared the joys and sorrows. 2014 was a good year just in a different way.
