As we leave this year of the horse behind, Ive seen such courage displayed as people have battled through adversities & painful circumstances. This was a year of personal truth. Waking up, ripping off the rose tinted glasses & seeing people/situations for what they truly are. It was a year of break-ups , breakdowns. No longer are people staying in jobs they hate, as they begin to explore their options. This was the year for facing your fears. The proverbial rug was pulled out from underneath us, as we struggled to gain our bearings from the flat of our backs; life presented us with a different perspective to view things from!!! Never before have we been so happy to say goodbye to a year! If you had a great year- congrats you were one of the lucky ones! Anyhow...the next few weeks will see the energy change as February welcomes the year of the ram. A lucky year that sees plans take fruition, relationships blossoming, new jobs, business & opportunities taking off! To say next year we can heave a great sigh of relief is an understatement. This year truly felt like a runaway horse & was a very mentally taxing year. Boundaries were drawn. For some of you there may be an empty place setting at your Christmas table. Bereavements & family disputes take their toil on your mental health. Make sure you surround yourself with support & love. Christmas is about being with the ones you love & who make you feel loved. Family doesnt necessarily mean this, so do not leave yourself vulnerable this Christmas. Ive known clients whove helped out at homeless centres & soup kitchens, instead of sitting with feuding families & passive aggressive inlaws etc. The joy there is in giving. If youve never done it...try it! You will get hooked on that feeling..trust me! The incoming year of the ram is about making dreams into reality. This is the year for mapping out plans, projects etc. Book that holiday, plan that trip: schedule your nights off. For if you draw up a rough sketch of you dreams/goals for the year, there is every chance you will achieve it & more! The devil is in the detail so to speak. So really give it some thought. As soon as you begin to implement your plans the universe will rise to meet you & synchronicities will start to flow. Vision boards, new year resolutions , basically any form of a plan for the year sends an intention out to the universe of your wishes to be fulfilled. The year of the ram is about honesty & inspiration. Hence the massive clear out weve already undertaken as 2015 sees us living more authentic lives. Whether this be in our relationships, careers, family or health. 2015 will be a memorable year for many. Travel will be in store for many, as rams love to roam! Even those who are the most settled home birds will find themselves flicking enthusiastically through the travel magazines. Those born in the year of the ram are known to be artistic,sensitive, kind souls so you can imagine what the year of the ram will feel like! As we splutter, cough & crawl our way toward the end of this year, we can truly count our blessings on one hand!!! For now be gentle with yourself, learn the lessons the year brought to you & move onward with the wisdom youve gained from them. This new year truly brings blessings.
