As we remember Anzac Day we commemorate the sacrifice made by so many thousands, indeed tens of thousands, of Kiwi men and women whove given so much in service and support of their country. Eighteen thousand Kiwi soldiers died in the Great War of 1914 to 1918 – thats 18,000 men and women who didnt come home. In a new century were becoming familiar with new conflicts, such as Timor-Leste, and Afghanistan and the Bamyan Province, where a whole new generation of soldiers are risking their lives for New Zealand. One of these soldiers is Private Dion Taka:
