As we ring in 2015 it is good to look back at all we accomplished. Thanks to the efforts of sponsors, fosters and adopting families Cause4paws was able to rescue 120 dogs from Greece. We were also able to find homes for some really needy dogs from Canada, Georgia and Louisiana. In addition there were a number of owner surrenders here in Canada that we helped rehome. 150 dogs is an impressive number for a one person rescue. But its due to the huge hearts of our loyal supporters. You open your homes and your wallets for these needy animals. Often we are asked with so much need in the world why help dogs. But a society is judged by how it treats its weakest creatures. And a society isnt based on geography. Its based on common purpose and common goals. The world needs the unconditional love that dogs provide. They dont judge based on a persons looks, finances, abilities, race or religion. They just love. People need that love in their lives. And thanks to our supporters we will continue to help those dogs that desperately need to be saved and match them with families who can care for them and be benefited by their devotion. We are looking to make several rescue missions to Greece this year similar to what we did in November. So we continue to look for sponsors of those rescue trips as well as fosters and adopters.
