As we say goodbye to 2014, I want to thank everyone for all that you do to make NRC a very special running club. I had some free time over the holiday to go back and look at pictures from the past year and ended up creating a little video of some of NRCs favorite moments from 2014. In looking at these pictures, it was rewarding to reflect back on all of the accomplishments that so many of you achieved this year. Some ran their first 5k,10k, half marathon, marathon or ultra marathon this year. I have t admit that there are few things better than watching someone do something that they once thought impossible. These goals would not have been achieved without the support, encouragement, and friendship that each of you provide one another on a daily basis. I get asked on a regular basis to explain the success of NRC. How could a running club formed in the small town of Nolensville become, as one person likes to tell me, an overnight success? Although many anticipate a complicated answer, its really simple. Its you, and I cant thank you enough for taking ownership of NRC and making it a club that you are proud to be a member of. Happy New Year, everyone.
