As we sit down and break bread with our family and loved ones today and give thanks to everything we have that enriches our lives, say a small prayer for the more than 2.7 million children who will sit down at a table with at least one parent in prison. Pray that these children have a mentor to help guide them to education, to hope, to a future. Pray that we can become a society of reasonable incarceration and become a society that tries to help and solve its problems. Pray that we as a society treats sickness and disease.... not incarcerate it. Hugs.... you will all be in my prayers today and I am thankful that you have all been a big part of my life and look forward to you all being part of my future.
