As we speak, about 4 prominent somali muslim schoalrs are in the hit-list of alshabab, they vowed to kill the scholars just becoz they spoke ill of alshabaab! Even staunch muslims are under threat from alshabaab, even me i have to go to hiding after posting this update becoz i might be killed as well, so, as the govt implements the shoot to kill order , they should be careful of who they shoot, majority of muslims in kenya and somalia hate alshabab but due to fear of attack from alshabab they dont speak ill of alshabab publicly, the govt should cooperate with the muslim leaders in a bid to ensure that criminals dont mingle with the upright and patriotic muslims, just like what happened in iraq, when the govt of iraq cooperated with the sunnis, and as a result the alqaeda operatives there were isolated, and that made easier to end the violence in iraq! Let such policy be implemented here in kenya, let the govt be a friend to all kenyan muslims! I can tell u, criminals will miss where to hide! Coast muslims are very good kenyans and muslims plus NEP muslims, they are patriotic, lakini when the govt and the larger christian kenyans see them as terrorists it will create a climate of hostility, infact this might lead to the birth of a new version of alshabaab in kenya! togther lets fight alshaabab and criminals, becoz at the end of the day this is our country! I have always maintained, the problem isnt somalis or kenyan muslims, the problem is few criminals whi invaded our country, muslims have been in kenya for the last 3 or 4 centuries , and they will be here, somalis as well have been kenyans since time immorial and they have never posed any danger to anybody, lets seperated issues, always remember that all mosques in kenya teach people the importance of peace, the notion that says that mosques are a place where youth are radicalized is untrue! Finally, the govt needs to respect muslim places of worship, that will enhance positive relationship between the muslim youth and the security forces!
