As we spun towards the rock cut into incoming traffic a strange calm came over me. I was happy with what I so far had accomplished. I put it into a controlled spin and tried to snap it back forward but we ended up spinning faster. Second 3 had passed and I waited for a vehicle to come around the blind corner to end us. A transport had jackknifed up ahead and blocked the road saving us. The spinning took away 80km/hr worth of momentum as we skidded up to the rockcut only 40 feet away at the beginning but now a foot away. The engine cut and I had to push the break in as hard as I could to avoid rolling down the hill. I could only laugh a moment before my demise but it somehow was avoided. It was almost thanks for the memories but Im still here.
