As we were driving to the next stop on our Trucking to Victory tour this afternoon we were unexpectedly pulled over by a Mer Rouge Police Officer. Apparently, Chief Stephens had been waiting all day hoping to have the opportunity to catch us, shake my hand, and tell me that he had planned to vote for Congressman Bill Cassidy until he heard my interview on Oak Groves KWCL-FM Oldies 96.7 with Irene Robinson. Chief Stephens be will be voting Maness tomorrow! There arent too many times you come out of a traffic stop with a smile on your face, but this was the exception. Its moments like these that have made this campaign so rewarding. It was great to meet Chief Stephens, and I thank him for his support in the voting booth tomorrow.
