As wildfires rage throughout the state, CDCRs Office of Employee Wellness offers tips for fire safety and resources to assist employees affected by fires. CDCR provides the Employee Assistance Program to help its employees with everything from health and fitness to financial and legal issues - and coping with fires. “Although some of us might not be directly affected by the fires around the state, we can’t help but watch the news and see the pictures of devastation some people are experiencing,” said OEW Chief Kathy Manzer. “We might even have loved ones or friends helping fight the fires and can’t help but worry.
