As wives, moms, daughters, grand-daughters, sister, nieces, aunts, friends, coworkers and employees, we wear many different hats on any given day. Everyone appears to need just a little part of us – our time, our energy, and our shoulder to cry on. As we get older we realize – or should realize – that we cannot be every person to everyone. We have to focus our time and energy, or we end up exhausted and burned out. The problem is that we don’t want to be rude or mean to our family and friends. We need to set up clear boundaries that respect our time and their feelings.
