As you all know, I am a big advocate of wool blankets in a long term situation. I think this topic has been beaten to death actually, with opposing sides standing their ground. Well, everyone has a right to opinion I reckon. So all of my talks and videos on this matter bare true in my mind and in my experience level. What has been failed to mention is another KEY FACTOR in the wool blanket ideology. Why did it work for hundreds of years prior to the MSS and the likes? Why is it STILL preferred by some? I intend on doing a video, possibly a few, that explains the missing piece of the equation. It seems to be the norm nowadays for folks to just regurgitate info and take what THEIR mentors have said.....and run with it as gospel. Well thats fine too. But in a short while I will discuss the missing piece, why its important, and how it is relevant to long term living in the wilderness. Dont expect this video tomorrow....but it is coming!
