As you all know, I work at Northwest. I am the Transportation - TopicsExpress

As you all know, I work at Northwest. I am the Transportation Supervisor...therefore, super vigilant about the safety of our students. First, traffic in and around the campus is very busy this time of the morning...buses, staff, student drivers and parents in a hurry to drop their children off and get to work. HOWEVER, I really do not care how late you are...in how big a hurry you are...the speed limit on Mohawk Drive and Henley Deemer Roads is 20 MPH. Folks, you are in a School Zone!!! I was tailgated particularly close this morning by one of those parents... Let me ask you...what if your child was hit by a vehicle speeding through the school zone? What if that vehicle in front of you suddenly stopped? What IF...? Please slow down. If you are cited for speeding in a school zone, you will be paying a hefty fine. Speed limits are in place for a reason!!! Parents who are speeding do not set a good example for their children who are - or will be - behind the wheel at some point during their years here. Thank you.
