As you all know, we are having twins. I am thinking of when the day comes when we announce their arrival and what information to broadcast vs what to keep private to keep the weirdos and sickos away. Yea, I post a lot of info about what we do, where we go, etc, but these are babies who dont need to feel like they are living The Truman Show. One idea I had was to give them nicknames rather than publish their entire birth name and stats- so if we are having a boy and girl, youll always hear me call them Luke and Leia however their full govt name would only be known by family and friends. I know it will be hard to monitor since everyone forwards and texts everyone else, but mommies to be, is too much social media sharing and identity protection of your newborn on your mind?
