As you all know, we had to stay at the Ronald McDonald House after Tayten was discharged from the hospital. This was the second time having to stay there throughout Taytens journey. For those that do not know, the Ronald McDonald House provides a nice room with your own bathroom, kitchens to keep and make your meals, breakfast, and volunteer groups come in and make dinners for the families in the house. Milwaukee RMDH has 500 volunteers plus their staff! They are the sweetest people who sincerely want to do anything they can to make things easier and more comfortable for the families. The do not charge you to stay there, but do accept donations when you check out. The first time I stayed there when Tayten was a baby, I couldnt not afford to donate anything. It really upset me because I appreciated it so much, but my mom assured me that one day I would be able to give back. We wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us out with donations to Team Tayten, because this time, we were able to give a very nice donation when we checked out! Without all the help, we would not have been able to do that! The RMDH staff expressed their great appreciation… These donations are much needed because the house runs on donations, and many families cannot afford to make the donations they would like due to medical bills and not working while they stay with their children. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU SO MUCH :)
