As you all know, when I was 25 weeks pregnant with ramsey we had fetal surgery to close the defect in her back and spine. This is done to try to prevent further damage to her nerves and organs and protect that brain. I am in a group with mommas and babies from all over the US and now a few other countries (fetal surgery is not being learned in other parts of the world!!). A mom put this together to share with hospitals that do fetal surgery, put on you tube and honor all of these families that have done this. We hope that when an expectant mom that gets the spina bifida diagnosis will be able to see this and know it will be okay... this video shows a few children that have lost their battle and it shows some kids using walkers and wheelchairs but it shows that this is sooooo worth the strggles. she made it clear in this video.. it is not easy but it is sooooooooooooo worth it!! please watch this and share it!!!! I hope just one momma that has a baby with this diagnosis inutero will be able to be like oh thats okay we will be fine I seen a video of all the fetal surgery kiddos and they are happy and amazing!
