As you all may know, WMNF New Sounds of the Left Coast is a community initiative to provide support for local Tampa Bay artists to get out of the garage and onto the stage. So far, we have been working diligently, week after week, to make this project move forward. Thank you to Adria Bernstein and Tracy Brady for offering their generous time to help launch this project, but we need more of these talented ladies as we request more New Sounds marketing material and additional website changes. Also, thank you again to Shawn Kyle, Ray Roa, Joe DAcunto, and Alastair St. Hill for your generous presentations at the Music Business workshops. The workshop overflowed with attendees (not just cause of the pizza Pryscila Miller bought for everyone), but because attendees were hungry for the information! Now that the selection process has ended, show time has begun! We are at the next phase and are requesting for your help. As promised, the selected bands will be provided studio time, recording, and live performances at The Venture Compound and Skippers Smokehouse. We cant do this alone. New Sounds is asking for your support to continue to provide a platform for Tampa Bay emerging musicians. We have set a goal to meet in the next 60 days and need the community support. New Sounds is kindly asking for your donation, promotion, and attendance of the upcoming events. We all love music, but there wouldnt be music without the support team behind them.
