As you are probably aware by now, the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) has announced that the Star Water Project will not be delivering water to the California Water Agencies. This is a serious situation, but not unprecedented, as we have had zero deliveries in the past. Fortunately, the water that is banked in our aquifer will carry us through this period, but is important that we encourage our customers to continue to conserve. In the coming weeks, DWA will be exploring additional avenues to conserve water and also safeguard our supply system.
