As you can imagine the cost to remove the historic water tower tank from the roof of the Museum alone was great. As a symbol of Andersonville, we hope to be able to repair and renovate the water tower so it can once again return to the roof of the Museum. If that is not possible, we want to make sure that any new solution would include creating a new iconic landmark for our neighborhood that would honor Andersonville’s Swedish heritage.
