As you can see Miss Sally is thriving in her foster home. She did do a little strip tease as her foster mom described it and removed some of her bandages overnight but it wasnt anything a little TLC from Bakersfield Veterinary Hospital couldnt handle. Our little girl continues to amaze us with how loving she is. Sally doesnt look back at the past. She could harbor resentment for humans but instead she has chosen to simply love us. What an amazing girl she is indeed. If only we could all live in the moment as Sally obviously does. She still has a lot of healing to do but we know she has weathered the storm. Sally has already stolen my heart. I dont understand how anyone could ever harm this dog. She has shown us nothing but boundless love and affection. Instead of dwelling on what was done we hope Sallys story will serve a purpose. If you suspect dog fighting please speak up.
