As you can see by the video, we are still struggling with the Town of North Providence to get them to honor their commitment to us. There will be a Town Council Meeting on Tues May 6th, at 7:00 PM at the North Providence Town Hall that could determine the fate of Ocean State Crossfit, North Providence. I will be speaking and defending the Box against their attack on Crossfit, and their unwillingness to follow through on their responsibilities as a municipality to support our community. We are asking everyone that is available, and especially North Providence residents to attend that meeting in support. Residents of North Providence have the right to speak and let their voice be heard. Please arrive early, and if possible wearing an OSCF T shirt. If you don’t have one, please see Steve Blais. If we fill the seats with a sea of Crossfitters, we will show the Town Council that were aren’t just a bunch of gym rats, but a community of active involved citizens that make the neighborhoods and towns around us better. Please text or email Steve Blais and let him know if you will be able to make it. This will give us an idea of how many extra Tshirts we need to have on hand (and how much beer I have to buy after the meeting). Lets make this “Standing Room Only “. I hope to see all of you there
