As you celebrate ‘Fathers Day’, please remember the children massacred in Soweto, South Africa on June 16th 1976. Those were innocent souls that could have been like Mandela and Steve Biko (RIP). The massacre has not stopped there. Today, we have seen children massacred in Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, D.R Congo, Syria etc for the selfish desires by internal and global leaders under the façade of the ‘right to rule’ and the pretext of ‘democracy’ and scramble for natural resources. Holy Father, remember and deliver all children abducted, those in conflict countries, the homeless, and the deprived in every nook and cranny of this universe in the name of Jesus. Fulfil your purpose for them according to your word in [John 16:21] “When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world”; [Psalm 113:9] “He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children; Praise the LORD” and [Mark 10:14] “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God”. Lord, establish yourself in every child in the world in Jesus name. Amen
