As you gather together for Worship services today ask yourselves the following question. Why am I here? Are you there because of self. I.e. They play the music I like, they have the comfortable chairs I like. Or they have the sermons I can relate to. OR! Are you there to Worship The Lord Jesus Christ? Your attitude about worship will determine why youre there to worship. And who you are there to worship. Dont misunderstand me. Im not saying anything good or bad about contemporary worship style. I personally dont like it. My statement and question is to get people to think about the real reason we are blessed with the God given freedom to Worship Jesus Christ on Sunday. On a side note. Sunday is not the Biblical Sabbath, Saturday is. We worship on Sunday because it is the day our Lord was resurrected. It was the day of His Ascension to the Fathers Right hand. It was also the day of Pentecost. We dont worship because of the popes and Catholic Church commands it. The early church fathers (apostles) changed it They changed it as a way of remembering and honoring Christ and his sacrifice for our sins. Dont believe the lie that the popes changed it. Also dont believe the lie that those who dont worship on Saturday are the apostate end time church. This is A LIE! WHY AND WHO ARE YOU WORSHIPING TODAY?
