As you guys know I love burgers! And I make a post about it every chance I get to make you jealous. Well there has been a method to my madness, I haven’t simply been showing off (maybe a little bit) but rather proving you don’t need to have a choice of eating youre favourite food or being unhealthy. That line of thinking is extreme, and will lead you to develop a very unhealthy relationship with food. Foods are not good or bad, and they are not a moral judgment. Although some are clearly healthier than others, it all comes down to balance, thermodynamics and mathematics. In other words, if you eat more calories than you burn, you will put on weight. If you burn more calories than you consume, you will lose weight. Eating one burger will not make you fat, even if it has been triple pattied and tripled cheesed. Just like eating one salad wont make you skinny. You just need to find a balance. If you need more help with your nutrition find someone who knows what they are doing, half the PTs in Geelong are stuck in the 1960’s handing out diets that contain 8 meals a day which contain 6 meals of chicken, tuna, and broccoli, or peddling some rubbish they get a financial kick back off. Better yet do your own research. Facebook is a great tool and has loads of great info. You just need to sift through the bullshit.
