As you know Abracadabra Girl used to have a real job in HR and often had to do the not so pleasant things which was tough. Also, like everyone she has had her fair share of rubbish stuff to deal with in life. When she moved into cake world all she wanted to do was make a difference and make people happy. On her birthday today she has been gobsmacked at the true heartfelt feedback, messages and presents (not gifts) that she has received. She has really felt that folks really care about Abracadabra and her. She would like to say thanks for all the presents she has had - especially from Liz & the Howes, Karen, Abracadabra Kid, Stasia and Mel. She was incredibly touched today when her amazing mummy turned up as a surprise when the workshop finished with her apron on ready to help clean up so they could celebrate in their favourite way prior to Abracadabra days with coffee and the Times crossword (Costa ugh ugh ugh). Finally cake with her lovely family. Today is a celebration of the greatest gift - time with friends. Thank you all. It means so much. PS - Just a teensy weensy special thank you to the guys who not only hacked and ruined my laptop but also had cloned my credit card. I hated the old one it was getting so dull and scratched and I needed to use a bit of time cancelling it today. You are so thoughtful. Thank you also to the roadworks guys on the A38. Extending my journey to work to 2 1/2 hours means I have so much time to talk to friends and look at the scenery. Perfect.
