As you know, I didn’t renew my contract for selling the glasses at Lake Geneva Antiques & Art Bazaar in Lake Geneva. I moved the glasses out of the store on August 16th, even though by contract I could keep the glasses there until the end of August. In March of this year my consignment check for January sales and my consignment check for February sales were returned to me by my bank as bad checks due to insufficient funds. I was not happy with the fact that my two consignment checks bounced and I told them so. I did eventually collect the money for those checks. Since that occurrence, I was labeled by them as someone with a “chip on my shoulder” and our business relationship deteriorated as the months went on with them not conducting themselves in a business-like manner. Therefore, I didn’t renew my contract with them. As of this date, I still have not been paid for my August sales. I mailed them a self-addressed stamped envelope in order to make payment to me as easy as possible. I have tried almost daily to get in contact with them and they have not responded to my attempts. I am assuming that they have no intention of paying me the money they owe me and are essentially stealing from me. I’m letting you know my experience because I have had a few people ask me about potentially putting their items in this store. I’m not saying don’t do it, I just wanted you to know my experience in dealing with this store.
