As you know, I love to cook and learn about cooking. Tonight is about comfort food. Just Ryan and I. So toasted cheese ala Joe and tomato soup ala Bill (aka the soup Pollock) is the menu for the evening. Only the tomato soup needs some fresh chopped basil and finely chopped vine-grown tomatoes, some sun dried tomatoes from Robert, along with some shredded carrot and chopped baby sweet peppers, some 1/2 & 1/2, and sherry, finished with fresh ground parmesan cheese and a dash of siarachi. And the toasted cheese is fresh baked whole wheat bread with local baby swiss, triple creme goat brie and monterey jack. Served with a Claussen spear and Dippers 3 seed dipping chips. Yeah, simple comfort food.. LOL. Sssssssomebody ssssstop me! LOL
