As you know, NCS has been given funds to offset the cost of a hotel stay for people attending our upcoming conference. Here are some FAQs weve received about this discount: 1. Who can claim the discount? Any attendee can claim the discount if they stay in a Saskatoon hotel to attend or conference. 2. Does the hotel room have to be in my name? No, but you will need to be able to get a copy of the hotel bill. 3. Can people share a room and still get a discount? Yes. More than one attendee can claim a discount of $50 per night for the same room. The total paid out will not exceed the price paid for the room, however. For example, if 3 people share a room and pay $134 a night, the total paid to all 3 attendees would be $134 and not $150. 4. How much can I claim? The maximum paid to any one attendee will be for 2 nights ($100). 5. Can I get $100 and apply it to only one night? No. 6. Can I get $100, stay at a friends house, and apply the money towards my conference cost? No. The sponsor wishes to help people having to travel or those who feel staying at a hotel will enhance their conference experience. 7. Do I have to stay at the same hotel as the conference (Hilton Garden Inn)? No. You may stay at any Saskatoon hotel. 8. How do I apply? You will get an application form at the conference. This form will ask for details of your room and your contact information. You must include a copy of your paid hotel bill with your application. If you have the completed application and hotel bill with you at the conference, simply hand them in to Landon Schmidt (Treasurer). If not, mail them to the address on the application form after the conference. Landon will mail you a cheque for your eligible amount. To register for the conference, go to ltw.eventbrite
