As you know it is not often that RJ and I get to go on a date due to proper childcare needs. Other than my parents (which is a blessing), we dont have anyone that we fully trust and are trained to take care of three kids and two with health needs. After last week, which was absolutely BRUTAL, we needed a date to reconnect and have a drink! Thanks to an AMAZING family it happened! This is another local family that has three kids of their own and a daughter that also has Type One and on Dexcom and Nightscout! So they completely get it. We had a date for 2.5 hours and the kids had a BLAST! More importantly we felt relaxed and they were in excellent care. Thanks to Nightscout and our watches we get updates and can view their numbers remotely. (Technology is a blessing). Thank you Jason and Andrea! The favor will be returned promptly!!! *Friends: when you have a date with your spouse, never take it for granted! Ive missed mine...
