As you know the World of Dust gathered this past weekend for the first European Championship. The quality of play was impressive: we had the pleasure to see formidable tacticians in action during the competition. In the final match, Tom Jacobs from Belgium managed to secure the overall victory in a lengthy and calculated match. He played an Axis Blutkreuz Korps themed army, able to face any situation. - The Old Man - The Ghosts - The Panzers - Totenmeisterin - Grenadier X - Zombies - Zombies - Zombies - Heinrich - Hermann - Wotan AR The other finalist, Sascha Kramer from Germany, fielded a highly efficient all-infantry Allied army. It was fast and deadly. - The Boss - BBQ Squad - The Hammers - Tank Busters - Devils Own - Devils Own - Grim Reapers - Grim Reapers - Grim Reapers Finishing third, Marek Laskowski from Poland also played an Allied army, beautifully painted, centered around the heavy Punisher walker. - The Boss - Johnny One-Eye - Recon Boys - The Gunners - The Gunners - The Choppers - Devils Own - Grim Reapers - Punisher Another army, played by Ludvig Mauritzson who came all the way from Sweden to compete, caught everyones eye. It was deadly and original, throwing off all of Ludvigs opponents. With this KV-47 heavy force, Ludvig managed to win all four games on Saturday, only to be stopped by Marek in the 1/8 finals. - Koshka - Grandma - Natalya - Nadya - Natasha - Melor - Tiger Claws - Red Commissars - Red Thunder - Red Storm - Fakyeli The whole Studio thanks all of you who made the trip: we had the most amazing time with you guys and gals!
