As you know, the day started early with Julie discovering the water heater had blown the drain plug out. So, I had to replace that. After removing it I discovered the PRV (pressure reducing valve) slowly dripping. So, I made the executive decision to change out the main shutoff, the PRV, the water heater (upgraded to a 50 gallon) the water lines to the washing machine and a few other Quest water lines which are the grey polybutylene water lines. I owe my brother an undetermined reward for helping me. Beer, boat gas money... Whatever he wants! I priced the water heaters at Home Depot and VAMAC (a plumbing supply company) and basically bought just about everything I needed at VAMAC for less than what the water heater alone would have cost from Home Depot. What do you know, I have to be up in less than 5 hours, time to finish this beer and hit the hay. Thanks for listening and good night!
