As you know, this page is my journey through my lifes gardens. Sometimes life is up and we are carefree; other times we go through sad times, trials, and tribulations. The last few months life has been full of twists and turns, loss of several loved ones, with several more close to the end of their journey, along with some life changing. We acquired a new member of the household, I call him my little guy! Ethyn has been here since Memorial Day Weekend,and keeping me on my toes. He is almost four. As you read in my previous post, we said goodbye to a very dear friend today... a Navy Veteran. Tomorrow, another of my forever friends, will be laid to rest. She was very special to me, I have shared many cups of coffee and many hours of blending our voices together in song. I have been thinking about how our lives have been intertwined through the years, and how my life was affected because of the life of this special lady. Two more of my friends... both Vets, are struggling for their lives. We are having a service Saturday for another friend, a Vet, who just passed. I am not writing this to bring anyone down, the circle of life does roll on each day. I have always said, the more you love, the more you lose. Im thankful for the memories. But what those people (while living) bring to your life is amazing. While loss is hard, life is full of blessings. I appreciate all the kind words, prayers, and hugs! As my friend Ruth always replies when asked... how are you? Blessed... yep, we are blessed. Blessed to have friendships, to feel cared for, to care for our loved ones. Okay, thanks for listening to me ramble. Life is short, laugh often, live each day to the fullest, tell your loved ones you care! Thanks for being my friend!
