As you know, we often post pleas for dogs that are on last call at the rural shelter in Many, LA. I spoke to Ellen in Many, LA today and she informed me that thanks to posts, sharing, cross posting, etc. approx. 600 dogs were adopted from their little rural shelter in 2014. 600 DOGS!!! This is huge for a tiny, rural shelter in Northern Louisiana that traditionally did not get many adoptions. This is why we post, this is why we share and this is why 600 dogs found homes. We will continue to post and share and help. Ellen works tirelessly - as a volunteer - for this shelter - KUDOS to her and also the shelter manager, Lisa! Without their efforts, these dogs would not have a chance. So please continue to share and post. YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE! The power of social media is amazing and it is a tool that is truly saving lives!
