As you may already have noticed, the results for Laudium parkrun #5 (15 Nov 2014) are inaccurate for runners from position 6 onwards. The Cape style storm which swept through Laudium wreaked havoc for both the volunteers and the scanning equipment on the day. Many of the runners barcodes were also damaged during this time. This resulted in inaccurate, missing and incomplete data on the day. Having worked closely with HQ to try and resolve the situation, a decision was made to publish the results as is! By doing so we ensure that runners from position 6 are not disadvantaged going forward in terms of their PBs and positions. No doubt you will agree that this was the correct decision going forward. We hope to be better prepared the next time Cape decides to visit Laudium. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
