As you may have heard, the race has reached capacity and registration has closed. This is great for the race and all the charities involved, but bad for runners who have been shut out. If you have registered and know that you will definitely not be able to make it this year, and are willing to vacate your spot for another runner, we are offering a special incentive. If you selected a Short Sleeve Performance T-Shirt and/or Hooded Sweatshirt with your registration, we will mail you your garment(s) if you let us know by the end of the day on Sunday, February 2, 2014 that you will definitely not be participating. It is our policy not to mail garments, but because of the sellout we have decided to make this provision as a thank you from us, and from the runners in waiting. We are however not able to offer any refunds, transfers, or deferments of registrations. Please email us at mv20miler@gmail if you will not be participating. If you are a runner in waiting and want to grab one of these vacated spots, check the online registration site lightboxreg/marthas-vineyard-20-miler each night after 8:30pm as we will open up all available spots.
