As you may know, we are featuring Tero Estates and Flying Trout Wines at our restaurant the whole month of April. It was last April that we started the practice of partnering with different wineries each month to provide for our wine loving guests a professionally wine paired experience. Listen to the comments of a guests review recorded in a FB post: The meal we had at The Vine while staying at Cameo was a beautiful experience. I happily ate things I dont even like! Its beyond worth the money. Go, and if you like wine, splurge on the pairing. You wont regret it. There are many beautiful people in the wine industry in Walla Walla wine country, but none nicer than Jan and Doug Roskelley, owners of Tero Estates, Flying Trout, and Waters Winery, all now under one umbrella. They own Windrow Vineyard, the oldest commercial block of grapes in wine country. It is situated on the pictureesque foothills West of Milton Freewater. This corner of Oregon was included in the Walla Walla wine appellation. Other neighboring vineyards include Seven Hills Vineyard, and Double Back. It is a very pretigious area in terms of consistently producing outstanding crops of wine grapes AND it bosts of a beautiful view of the valley. A visit to Tero Estates Winery to meet Jan and Doug and taste their highly awarded wines may just be the highlight of your visit to Walla Walla!
