As you may know, yesterday Jungle Gym held an event called the Burpee Fest. It was its first event and we plan to have many more. Our very own kickballers like Randy Devlin, Allen Walker, Steve Midlik, Micheal Ramey, and many more competed in the events. We even had a WAKA table held down by Keith, Brent, and Fagel. There was also Noelle Walsh in attendance as a vendor for her Initials Inc. company. Adam Gold was there stretching people out and helping clients as well. A big thanks to people like David Merritts and William Mckendree for just showing up to support. It all put a huge smile on my face. Its what leagues like us are all about. That being said, we raised money for 3 different charities. One of them being the American Cancer Society. I like to donate all my fundraisers close to home, to make sure the money is going in the right hands and being put to good use. So Brent and Andrea Henry (and whoever else is involved), Id like you to put all of the Burpee Fests donations towards the WAKA Kickball Relay For Life team. I know you will know exactly what to do with it. Consider this a virtual check of $1,290 towards the American Cancer Society in our name. #wakaandjunglegymunite #wakakickscancer
