As you probably have heard, Michael Wilhelm needs our help. He desperately needs a portable oxygen tank so he can continue to play music and travel to support himself and his family. The VA wont supply a portable tank, but have, of course, supplied him a tank to use at home. It is too big and too cumbersome, to travel to gigs with. He cannot carry his equipment anymore, has to sit down to play. His COPD is very severe. We, as a community, have listened to his music for umpteem years and have enjoyed it. It is our turn to give back to this American Treasure, seriously. He has been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame and just recently in 2013 won an impressive award for his playing of the blues.
