As you ready the little ones for the trick-or-treat festivities, - TopicsExpress

As you ready the little ones for the trick-or-treat festivities, temperatures will be on the mild side ranging in the low to mid 60s across the region. It will be mostly cloudy with spotty showers developing later this evening, especially in Northern sections. The heavier rains should hold off till after midnight, which should give you ample time to gather all the goodies. As front pushes through overnight, expect winds to pick up from the strong low pressure system that will be moving over the Great Lakes. Winds will be fairly strong, ranging from 20-30mph with stronger gusts possible (40+mph) reaching down from aloft with heavier rains and possible thunderstorms. The National Weather Service has placed the entire state in a Hazardous Weather alert for strong winds and issues Gale Warnings along the coastal regions. I would advise to take in loose Halloween decorations with the strong winds that will be taking place overnight. Friday the rains will be hanging around for the majority of the day with temperatures ranging from the upper 60s - low 70s. Winds will be dying down from West to East by the evening. Rains will also be ending by late Friday night, from West to East. The weekend will be much cooler with the front exiting off the coast, bringing temperatures down to the low 60s on Saturday and only reaching into the low 50s on Sunday. The weekend looks to remain dry and with sun in and out behind partly cloudy skies. Overall, a decent weekend with a noticeable temperate change. I hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween evening! Dont forget to bring in those decorations so they dont blow away! Jeff B.
