As you will know, we spent our Friday 13th at Alton Towers. We were joined by lots of lovely people and an interesting night was had by all. During the vigils, one group who were in the Orangery and surrounding area, were treated to several taps and bangs which all seemed to occur on request and appeared to be emanating from all over the area. This group also discovered a piece of rock leaning against their Ouija board which had been left against a wall. Nothing was seen there when the board was placed down and nobody went near the board at that time. Subsequent groups in this area didnt hear as much, but did report some strange noises and temperature changes. Another group, in the kitchen area, had some very strange dowsing rod results, with one rod jumping up and down in the guests hand. The group believe they made contact with a small girl in this area. On moving outside of the building and into a small tunnel, one guest thought he saw a shadowy figure and our medium picked up on a man dressed in similar clothing to that of a knight. The tunnel also saw one guest claiming to have been touched. The top floor was quiet for most of the night but, again, lots of noises; bumps and bangs were heard. When this happens our staff always check with each other to see if any of the groups are making these noises. It seemed on many occasions that the noises heard on Friday night were unexplainable. The Chapel gave one group some very interesting table tipping, with a very heavy table moving. Some strange sounds were heard in the chapel at the same time. Along with some other table tipping, temperature changes, a Ouija board session that gave us Gillian to speak to and feelings of nausea in parts of the building, Alton Towers gave us lots of things to think about and from feedback weve received, turned at least one complete sceptic into a believer!
