Asa good morning fbf. .... this will be my only post about our MAYOR pertaining to the violence.... 1st off, before Ras was mayor he fought in these streets for 20 years thats an actual fact. Now that hes mayor people are expecting everything to just stop and we live in happy land ... thats not being realistic... No Mayor is responsible for any outburst of crime or homicide in this city. When u deal with reality no police officer, detective, councilman or any elected official can possible know why or who is beefing with who without someone tipping them off, as big as Newark is with a population of 300,000 people who can monitor every single persons behavior? Nobody unless the community itself is involved ... 2ndly now that he is mayor his fight must ultimately change into a broader spectrum giving the fact that we the city of Newark have Economic struggles , Education struggles, Public safety struggles and so on and so forth .... people are so quick to pick up a hand full of dirt and throw it but where gloves because they dont wanna get their hands dirty.... everybody has a community or hood they claim they live in so its your responsibility to clean up the trash, be kind to your neighbors, educate the children, help each other out in your so called hood ... play your part where u live .... if u live in the south ward and you have a good relationship with the people there then dont concern yourself about who is fighting crime in the community in the west ward ... thats the responsibility of the people who live in the west ward ... this is how u collectively attack the problems ... stop pointing fingers and play your part, position and role in your own community ...
