This wish of his has been quite well known among environmentalists and the CDA for many years now. With the roots and PR of generous Mr Riaz growing thick and fast all around the corners - from generals right down to the ruling party and the party in opposition - who knows what kind of assurance he has got about his piece of pie in this insanely huge "new islamabad" project put on the table by PMLN govt recently. The money IMF is giving, shouldnt we just combine that with better tax collection and invest that in ridding the country of energy crises and illetracy. Who is going to make tall buildings in the new islamabad if there is not enough electricity to lit them, no skilled / entrepreneurial youth to utilize them, no foreign investor is coming and common people are tied up with constant IMF-driven gas and electricity hikes!
