Ascended Master, Lady Nada’s Weekly Message ~ January 8 – 15, 2014 Calm... I AM 8 January 2015 Channeler:Julie Miller Beautiful Bright Hearts it is well known and understood that each of you have grand aspirations, goals and objectives to meet and dreams to make reality. For many, just getting through the day before you with grace and dignity is enough…to be able to move peacefully throughout your day without losing a trace of calmness, without wanting attention for yourself…but to get on with the day effectively, efficiently and with a calm and collected sort of energy. Some days, this is easy to reach, but other days, everything seems to be going wrong. You don’t have to remain in a state of panic when you can regain your calm persona. Can regaining your calm be so simple; well quite simply…YES. It is impatience and anger that comes from your emotions getting the better of you, it is also how you talk to yourself when a sudden change to your plans comes your way and how you react according to your ego’s directions that makes all the difference. When you are in control of your emotions, you are more productive, more communicative and your life overall is more meaningful and satisfying. Just because a catastrophe has come your way, does not mean you must go along with it, where all reason goes out the door. Dramatizing something, making it bigger than what it actually is, is something the ego encourages, not the heart. When it is time to understand what the problem or issue is, instead of allowing the situation to magnify into something huge, choose a different way. Find and make use of empowering words that help change your thoughts. When you change your thoughts, you change your perspective of the issue. You can overcome any obstacle. But before you can, you must believe you can and you must believe that your personal power and inner strength to overcome is bigger than any situation could ever be. God does not give you challenges you cannot meet, for God knows already what you can do and even if it seems you are being pushed…just imagine how much more knowledge you are going to gain and not just knowledge of how to solve a problematic situation, but knowledge of your own Self and the world around you. We see so often nowadays, dear souls rushing to share everything and all they are dealing with and feeling. Remove yourself from the temptation to reveal everything. It is not selfish to keep things to yourself for a while before sharing. Allow the process to be worked over in your own mind; giving yourself adequate time to calm your emotions and be at peace with all that is going on. Beautiful Bright Hearts, we know you have some friends that mean well, and some might even over-sympathize, but sometimes their response to something that is fresh only adds fuel to the fire, causing you to become even more upset. Reflect on what has happened, explore your Self from the inside before you share. Remember no matter who you share with, no matter what they suggest, it is you that must live with any choice or decision. Learn to visualize your problem or situation as an intricate knot; as you go through the thought process to work through the situation, the knot becomes loosened. As you work on calming yourself from the inside out, the knot begins to become undone, one loop and strand at a time. Patience seems to be one virtue very few have mastered, but one that can be strengthened. Imagine yourself behaving with focus, clarity and patience. How would you be? What differences are your actions and mannerisms? Then try to be what you envisioned, slowly as not to rush and get mixed up. Beautiful Bright Hearts, each of you has the ability to be the calm and level-headed person you see in our imagination. Another helpful way of bringing calm back into the picture is to imagine what someone you know that is always calm and think of how they would react or respond and determine if some of their ways would work for you. Before acting, think things through because once you act or say something hasty there is no magic eraser to wipe your error away. Whenever you have become exasperated in the past, did you recognize anything specific that triggered you to lose your composure, did you feel anything beforehand? Now is a perfect time to think about this. As past experiences have so much to show and teach you when dealing with present situations. Look for symptoms your body releases; such as anxiety, do you experience a drop in blood sugar, does your heart beat feel as if it’s coming through your chest…physical symptoms like these are indicators that there is a pattern and it is up to you to backtrack to the root of the issue in order to heal and bring back your calm and collected composure. Give yourself the gift of solitude for a few precious minutes in order to reflect on times when you were able to successfully move through a difficult situation without becoming frustrated or making a little bump into a mountain. No one else can control your emotions but you. They are not meant to control you, but to show you where your attention is needed so you can discover a way through that doesn’t threaten your peaceful demeanor, dignity or integrity. Each Beautiful Bright Heart will come to the discovery of what soothes them. What works for another, may not work for you; yet this does not mean their way is ineffective or useless, simply you need to work with what works best for you. Calming music, walking through a park after it rains or snows, or during a quiet time of day is helpful. Lighting candles or wood scented incense helps to calm the mood, giving yourself a peaceful bath with lavender or chamomile in the water with the lights off might help, or just pulling over in your car to take some much needed deep breaths. There are endless ways to sooth your upset, and only you can discover them. The simpler they are, the more help they will be. What we witness too often are dear souls not taking care of themselves. They go about rushing to do so much, taking care of others yet failing to take care of themselves. Truthfully speaking, you cannot truly love another person or give compassion unless you can give the same amount to yourself first. Take care of you by ensuring you are getting enough sleep. If you are tired and know you are sleep deprived, then look at correcting this, if you need medical assistance then seek it. Sleep is essential for your entire being. Besides ensuring you are getting proper rest, make sure you are eating well, getting enough soluble fiber, drinking lots of water and eating foods that nourish all of you. If you cannot go to one of your clubs for exercise, make a point of walking 20 – 30 minutes every day, do some stretching; something that will help loosen stressed muscles and tension. Taking care of yourself that is healthful will help you get through your day with more calm and focus. It is well understood that not everyone prays or meditates. You don’t have to. If prayer or meditation is not for you and you are looking for ways to encourage peace back into your life after dealing with a recent, troubling situation simply give yourself a place where you can unwind… just you; no animals, no kids, NO ONE. Even if you have to lock yourself in your bedroom or bathroom for 20 minutes; do so with the lights turned off and allow yourself to go blank. You might sometimes cry, you might with eyes closed find comfort in the dark, like a warm blanket…let yourself go for those few minutes; all will be okay. Giving yourself back your peace of mind is a worthy gift and it is one that you can give daily when your mind seems to be going in dizzying circles and you begin to doubt yourself. Instead of contemplating nonstop, distract yourself with something fun; something that will engage you constructively. By doing so, you are not running away from the situation, you are putting it out of your mind for a bit…by not allowing yourself to worry, you save up on your precious energy that can used for times of fun with your friends and family. With the improvement in entertainment area, there are a great many movies and theatrical performances you can watch that well help lighten the heaviness of a situation which will make it easier for you to remain calm, cool and collected. You will weather any storm that comes your way, just remind yourself you are not the storm, but you are the rainbow that always comes after the storm. Believe in your light, in your ability to find peaceful ways to cope when all around you seems to be complex and chaotic. You have already within you, what it takes to maintain command of your total self. In addition you will come to the realization that most of your problems are not as big as you thought, once you learn how to change your thoughts and see the truth of the issue. Stop rushing your journey. Wherever you have to go, you will get there; for all the goals you wish to achieve, you will reach each one as you are meant to. Slow down Beautiful Bright Hearts and enjoy life and all the challenges that come your way. They are not there to rob you of your peace. They come to show you a different way, they offer you new directions and routes, while maintaining a harmonized, peaceful state of mind that each of you has the capacity of bringing each step of the way. And so it is… I AM Ascended Master, Lady Nada… … through Julie Miller
