Ashlee Simpson “Autobiography” Ashlee Simpson “Autobiography” was released on July 20th, 2004. Ashlee Simpson “Autobiography” its a pop rock album that leans very closely to the pop genre. Im going to tell you guys and gals the truth, I really wanted to enjoy this album but I just couldnt get into the album. There was a handful of songs that I enjoyed and entertained by; other than that, I didnt like album at all. I kind of got annoyed by some songs because it started off good then did a 180. Lets talk about the positive first before negative. Some of the songs were unique and very catchy to listen to; those songs I enjoyed by. The rest of the album, just didnt live up like the other songs. Besides being annoyed, the rest of the songs on her album falls flat and plain but some songs went from being OK to pretty bad. I hope her other releases are better than this album because it wasnt that good; this album has huge potentials but it didnt. Anyways, listen to the album before buying it; for me I dont recommend this album. Overall, I would rate Ashlee Simpson “Autobiography” a 1 out 5 stars.
