Ashley Rhodes asks I have a 4 year old son who i am trying to get diagnosed with autism. We lost our health insurance and just got it back now so were seeking help. But i did an IEP for a preschool grant to get my son in.Its a public school. I told the school everything about his behavior how he throws and pulls hair etc. I even had a counsellor come to our house to observe him and told me we deal with kids like him all the time. Well friday i got a call to come pick him up. He bit the teacher and harmed a student. And on the way out i was told to call the pediatrician and get a referral to see a neurologist and get him on medicine. And i also asked about what to do monday. She said We cant legally tell you not to bring him back. I could tell she didnt want him back and i feel horrible about what he did. But at the same time i had told the school everything , Im seeking help as fast as i can and i cant do anything else at this point in time but wait for his apps. Im stuck between a rock and a hard place. Should i take him back to the school? A very sad mom.
