With a background in anthropology/sociology/theology, that turned into a love for medicine and healing, I can tell you that bigger control, bigger government is NOT the direction we want to go! It precisely the opposite direction we need to go! Why do you think nationalism is sooo bad (which I agree with)? Because it has gotten beyond/bigger than how we are supposed to live together on a smaller group/local/tribal level. At that level if we have disagreements than they will work themselves out, somehow, someway, w/o disrupting too many other humans in the process! We would never have World Wars (like ants) with many diverse and separate groups and tribes! So we need to think smaller not bigger! I swear if we go bigger/global, than the potential for things on a MASSIVE scale will be evident! Plus different groups have different ideas, and so are more compatible to live with one another (which Im not saying people with differences cannot live together...but alas, sometimes they should not). They should not be persecuted, but instead may want to live/move to an area that is more supporting of their belief system! This is an attempt to dilute and homogenize the human race (like white bread-sucked of all its nutrients, to the point where it becomes non-nourishing, bad for us), and it is our myriad differences, outlooks and talents that make us strong, diverse...beautiful...we just need to love and appreciate each other for our differences, not hate and belief that one way is better than another...it is not better or worse, it is just different, and beautiful in its own way!! Plus Im not sure whatd be normal for someone from Europe, would be the same as someone from rural Africa, an Aborigine from Australia, or someone from out in rural New Mexico, USA...which is why, and we always shall, need leadership/government from the local/smallest level, not from an even bigger than nationalist level.If you can see the corruption and infighting can cause bad things on a national level, please try to imagine it on a global scale, now, please...really take a minute and imagine it....there is the potential for even bigger catastrophes than we are already experiencing to happen! If you go more local and smaller, sure there would still be some disagreements, but hopefully they would (and they would) remain very LOCALIZED and not affect entire nations/economies & peoples, and indeed not the entire world! Joris Diepstraten thats not the way forward to protect the individual. local governments are needed but they need to be kept under control by more than a local militia. human beings exploit each other no matter how much you want to be a hippy there is always a non-hippy with a stick. but to keep small is to ask for reduced technology and health. peoples lifespann will be reduced to a average of 40 years. not 100+ i cannot agree totally. Joris Diepstraten we need a planet A B C D E and F. and local governments on those planets can always be seperate from earths control. the future colonies will have a government that you perscribe. but this earth needs to seed other worlds ASAP before we are extinct through the eventual meteorite killing us off like the dinosaurs.
